Okay, so I'm fully aware I skipped a day again! So haven't meant to, but I have to be honest, VBS is kicking my butt! So tired. And aside from that I've had lots of sessions to catch up on the editing front and sometimes just lose time. I didn't take any photos again today, but snatched a few when our good friends the Carrolls visited from Texas while we were home in Missouri between Germany and Guam. After dinner one night we took the kids to one of the water parks at the playground in downtown CoMo. I don't think they had fun or anything....

I love this. They were "karating" the water at each other. Hadn't seen each other in three years and just picked right back up. Awesome.

Looking back at these photos makes me miss my hometown, and our time there. But, I am so grateful that the military allows us friends ALL over the world. It's so bittersweet. So thankful for the Carroll family and what they mean to us, and thankful that my kids have a lifelong friend in Jadyn, regardless of where we may end up. There is nothing better than friendships that do not change, regardless of time apart. When you get friendships like that, hold them close. Happy almost Friday!
