It's been a rough week. Too much sickness in this house. A solid week of sleeping on the couch, catching throw-up, cleaning up poo, doing endless laundry of sheets, towels, blankies and doggies, lots of consoling of crying after telling little men they couldn't have milk or other delicious things and lots of snuggling has me worn out. Something about the viruses here--they just don't go away. But after a solid week of all that, the sun came out today. It was beautiful. Still a little brisk, but I decided I should try to get the boys out at least a little bit, so we went to the playground early this evening just long enough to get some fresh air and it was VERY appreciated by the boys.
"Take a picture of me Mommy!"
Layla Belle came too.
Crossing the bridge by himself for the first time. Very concentrated!
Then this evening, after breakfast for dinner, the three boys sat and felt Sarahlynne kick and squirm. Jacob and Joshua got so much delight out of it. It was hilarious. And upon snuggling in the recliner with JoJo before bed, he looked up at me and said "Love you the most Mommy. JoJo and Mommy very best friends." Yes, JoJo, yes indeed. What a way to end an awful week. Thank you Jesus for fun some sunshine, a little fun at the park and a perfect ending to a rough week. Even in the rough patches, I am so far beyond blessed. Incredible how it can be so easily missed when we are overwhelmed, and then show up so suddenly in the simplest of moments. For that, I am thankful.
