So, I'm having a hard time believing that on Tuesday, my sweet baby girl turned 3 months old. I know I've said it with all three kids, but time passes so fast. And as much as I can't wait to see her sitting up by herself, eating cereal, playing with toys, saying Mama and Dada etc., I can't help but just wish she would stay this size for a little longer. I'm learning to not wish away the time I have with her this size in my excitement for all the things she's going to be doing in the future.
With each day that passes she truly does get more incredible. You can already tell she has a gentle heart, but can still tell you what she wants/needs. She's a lot of Joshua with a touch of Jacob, and I think she's just the perfect combination. Her smiles and coos and oohs and aahs steal my heart (and the heart of three certain boys that live with me too! :)). I absolutely adore her.
A few things about sweet Sarahlynne at three months:
*She still adores her brothers. They are one of the funniest things in the world to this baby girl.
*She vies for and wants Daddy's attention more than anyone in the house. If he is playing with her and takes a break to look elsewhere she yells until he looks back at her. She is already learning what it is like to be treated right by a boy, and I am so lucky she has her Daddy to let her know she is beautiful, both inside and out.
*She still loves to eat, but does NOT like the infant premium formula. Here's to hoping the commissary get the lipil back in soon!
*She's coming around to her bows. She didn't used to like the so much, but I think Mommy is conditioning her to love them!
*She LOVES to be sitting upright or looking out at the world.
*She loves walks in the stroller.
*She loves Layla Belle
*She's a diaper baby. If she's upset and you take her clothes off and let her kick and play in her diaper she's instantly happy.
*She knows when she wants to be held, but she also knows when she needs some time to just play by herself. And she's a mix of both. Dependent with a streak of independence.
*She loves her "Busy Doggy Bear". And always tries to cover her face when she sleeps.
*She loves hitting the toys hanging from her mat and laughing hysterically at them.
*She likes to sit in her swing in the kitchen and watch Mommy do dishes and cook.
*If I'm sitting next to her folding laundry, she has to have her feet resting on my leg, if I move my leg this results in an unhappy baby.
*Naps in her crib are her favorite.
*12 hours is her preference for sleeping at night. Bless her.
